Antoinette Pollard says:
The fish cleaning our feet, the trip to Rabbit Island, meeting the locals, stopping at the orphanage and school, the smaller group tour, the valuable information given by Vuttha, going to the Vuttha's place for a party, and meeting Meoun's children it all personalised the trip. Our tour guide, Vuttha, was a mind full of information, an excellent ambassador for Cambodia and very accommodating in making the most of our trip. Our driver, Meoun, was polite, helpful, and could not do enough for you. Everyone got on so well together. Vuttha and Meoun made an awesome team and are a credit to Kumuka.
Introduction: Cycling is a great way to see and get to know the real Cambodia with all its rustic charm, as we take to the quiet back roads and meet the local people. Combining bicycle, car, ferry and foot we explore Cambodia’s diverse landscape of waterways, beaches, rice paddies, ancient ruins, national parks and jungle. Sample seafood delicacies, relax on Cambodia's sandy white beaches, and discover temples and museums – this tour has it all! The temples of Angkor are the highlight of Cambodia for most people, but there is far more to explore in this beautiful country, and great biking destination. Phnom Penh with its faded colonial charms and the beaches of Sihanoukville, make Cambodia a wonderfully varied destination. We ride just over 300km mostly on a mixture of tarmac roads and wide dirt trails. Most of the rides are on flat terrain, with a few undulating parts, but nothing too difficult. Outside of Phnom Penh traffic is light and we often share the roads with ox carts and other cyclists. The trip is fully supported by an air-conditioned minibus that will shadow us for the entire journey, providing respite for tired muscles and a break from cycling.
